How we used design to make "Visit Birlin" stand out in the crowd.

visitBerlin is the city’s official marketing agency and promotes Berlin as a tourism and convention destination worldwide. Together with partners from politics, business and society, visitBerlin pursues the goal of further developing Berlin tourism and positioning it for the future. The focus is on urban compatibility and sustainability.


The organization was starting a new campaign to promote Berlin tourism throughout Europe. A week-long pop-up store would be setup in central and trendy locations across five metropolises: Stockholm, London, Vienna, Amsterdam and Paris. VisitBerlin wanted to expand on their current product offerings with custom T-shirts designed as uniforms without their usual “visitBirlin” logo.

Paradigm Shift created custom design suggestions reflecting the current zeitgeist of Berlin. The designs were brought to print after collaboration with the organization’s design team. Design files were then sent to a local silk-screen printer to be printed on T-shirts of various sizes and colors for staff.
