Background

Fritz is a group intervention and therapy center in Berlin. The Psychiatric Clinic is run as part of a multidisciplinary treatment center of the Vivantes Hospital Group. They are Vivantes’ first early intervention and therapy center in Berlin and offer a therapy program developed for young people (between 16 and 29 years of age) at the Vivantes Klinikum Am Urban in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

Challenge

In 2014, Fritz reached out to Paradigm Shift (named “mr noe design” at the time) for web development and design needs. The Vivantes hospital group was launching a campaign serving youth mental health. The hospital group wanted an online presence that appealed to a younger audience. It needed to be inviting, warm, and reflective of Fritz’s message of the importance of proactive mental health steps amongst Berlin’s teens and young adults.

Later, in 2021, happy with the work done by Paradigm Shift, Vivantes again reached out to Paradigm Shift to expand the current website to include three other sites. This virtual expansion reflected a physical expansion of their physical therapeutic clinics in Germany.

The 2014 collaboration led to a unique minimalistically designed website that was easy for Vivantes to maintain and update. The aesthetics of the site spoke to the youthful atmosphere of their in-person clinics and the group’s focus on simplistic mindfulness.
The 2021 expansion reused the 2014 design across three new sites and one subpage. Pages were added to accommodate new content, rating forms, and maps.
